QUESTION??????

QUESTION:  WHAT IS A TRIPTYCH?????
ANSWER:  USING A THREE PHOTO SEQUENCE TO TELL A STORY.

See my next post for my funniest photo triptych ever!!!

Jaron, Michelle and Kids

As part of our winter get away a few weeks ago I took some family photos for Jaron & Michelle.  Such a cute family!   Here are a few of my favorites:

For those who don't know, the bunny was Gavin's favorite toy.  It makes music and dances and so did Gavin!

 My personal favorite.
Love the light.

Charity Never Faileth

Amber discovered this photo of mine on the facebook page of mormonchannel.org

It is one of the photos I have given copyright privileges to the Church to use as they see fit.  Here they have removed part of the background and added the quote.

It is one of my favorite New Zealand photos of this little boy helping to paint a school at a Mormon Helping Hands service day.  He was very serious about his work and very cute in his red gum boots.

Below is the original.  I wish I knew who his parents are.  I would love to print this for them!

Winter Getaway - Part 2

After Taylor's soccer tournament in Mesquite we stopped in Las Vegas to interview a couple interested in serving a Public Affairs mission, then headed to Phoenix.  We stayed with Jaron and Michelle for a few days and went on a picnic, then to the zoo and also got in some RZR riding.

We then headed to Yuma and arrived in time for Issac's Gold & Green dinner.  After dinner there were awards.

And then there was the Pinewood Derby.  Isaac didn't win any races but he sure had a cool looking car!

March Desktop

I realized I didn't post my March Desktop photo on this blog so I'm doing it now.

Coromandel Peninsula, New Zealand

We were enjoying this peaceful scene, when the sun peeked through the clouds creating these beautiful sunbeams.  I kept looking for a great photo, but there was really no subject until this family walked into my frame.  I waited until they were silhouetted by the sunbeams, then I snapped.  I love this photo.

Winter Getaway

Well, here we are closing in on the end of March and I haven't posted anything for this month or most of last month.  And it certainly is not for the lack of activities or photos.  We have been so busy with work and fun that I just can't seem to squeeze it all in.

The middle of February we took off for several weeks.  First we joined Scott & Tiera's family in Mesquite for Taylor's soccer tournament.  He did great and their team took second place.  If I remember correctly they played 3 games over President's Day weekend and his team was wearing dark uniforms and white uniforms for different games.

We managed to do some RZR riding in between soccer games.  This was Taylor's first time driving.  Does Tiera look a little nervous, or is it just my imagination!!  He did a great job.  Nothing to it, just like playing a video game!  The only difference is when you crash, it doesn't say 'game over' and the consequences are a bit more serious!

Valentine's Day Dinner

A little late for another Valentine's Day post, but I am trying to catch up after a VERY busy few weeks!

Well, I was all prepared, flowers on the counter, and decorations on the table.

Special treats on the little kid's table.

And even a treat on the big kid's table.

I even had time to take these photos before the party, and then I set my camera on the counter so I wouldn't forget to take pictures during the evening......  You're right, I don't have one single picture during the evening and my camera was sitting in the same spot after everyone had gone home!  Sigh!
