Tuweap, Arizona
Before the excitement of the holidays, Jeff & I took a little break to Santa Clara. We took a day trip with the intention of riding our RZRs in the area of the Tuweap Overlook of the Grand Canyon. After towing the RZR for a long way, we then turned on a dirt road. After bouncing around for another 60 miles, we learned that it was illegal for us to ride ATVs in that area. We had come that far so we continued driving in the truck at about 2 miles an hour over ruts, boulders and holes until we finally got to the overlook. We arrived just before sunset and I snapped a few shots. It was certainly a beautiful and remote place, (if you like red rocks and deep canyons), but I'm not sure it was worth that drive.
Your picture will save the memory forever. Saves us going there though it's spectacularly beautiful.
