There are some amazing days that are so perfect, so beautiful, so uplifting, they will be etched in my memory forever. Yesterday was one of those days! Our wonderful son, (and youngest), married a remarkable young woman for time and eternity, (as we believe in our faith). They adore each other and are a perfect match in every way. Tyler describes Ashley as the sweetest and kindest girl he has every met. We are so happy for them!

We we do not a lot of family here for an official wedding shower, we invited Ashley and her mother Wendi to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory.  It was nice getting to know them a little better.

I learned a hard lesson at Jaron & Michelle's wedding, and that is you can't be the official photographer and mother of the groom at the same time!  But doing engagement photos prior to the wedding is fun!

Meet the newest member of our family.  This was my idea, and I don't know what I was thinking.  I guess I was thinking that old people need a dog to keep them occupied.  Well, even Jeff couldn't resist this face.  She is a labradoodle and should end up around 30 lbs.

We had another wonderful family vacation at Lake Powell.  Everyone was able to come except Amber and Vic, but all the grandkids were able to come.  Here are just the family photos I took.  These and about 450 additional 'fun times' photos I've included in the annual Lake Powell book I make for each family:

Happy 47th Anniversary to Us!

Tyler & Ashley Are Engaged!

We were so excited when Tyler and Ashley announced their engagement.   Many prayers have been expressed and answered on Tyler's behalf.  He tells us Ashley is the sweetest girl he has ever met, and we love her already!

Sawyer is Baptized!

Hard to believe our little Sawyer is old enough to be baptized.  He is a wonderful young man!  He is happy, sweet. energetic and loving and always seems to have a smile on his face.  Sawyer has brought so much joy to our family and we are so proud of him!.
